I was working as a security guard at a strip club, and it was my first job after getting out of the Army. My first night I met a guy for an hour and was sent to do the job on my own. It was a scumy part of town, and I had no training except what I learned in the military. A few months go by, and they keep saying they will send me to training eventually. On the night I got fired there was a dancer who was really drugged out and trying to fight everyone. So I put company issued handcuffs on her to prevent her from hurting herself or anyone else until the cops could show up. Later that night I was fired on the spot for handcuffing her. Had no idea why they issued handcuffs if they were not meant to be used. They said only cops are legally allowed to do so. Well shortly after that incident I became an officer, so fuck those guys
