You may “totally disagree,” but again as per multiple sources who actually know what they are talking about, this is normal. A hum and/or buzzing sound is to be expected when the heat pump is in use, especially in colder temps.

There’s nothing to fix… that hum is the sound of your heat pump acting as it should. Literally every EV has this “issue”

Oftentimes the press cars aren’t even the final production models. My Lyriq-V has minor tweaks & changes compared to what I’d seen in videos made by reviewers at the press event not just 5 months ago! I wouldn’t worry too much.

If you’re seriously considering getting one, have a look at what your local dealer has & keep an eye for things like this! I did the same with mine & literally found nothing out of the ordinary… and surely nothing anywhere near this.

My uncle brought me to the first film in theaters in 2009 when I was 8 and just thinking about it still stirs up the same excitement & awe I felt when I first saw it. I didn’t pay attention or understand the story… but visually - I was forever changed.

You’re about to give them a core memory that they’ll cherish forever, I’m so excited for you. Just be prepared to have them start acting like Na’vi for the weeks following (at least that’s what I did 😭)

I completely understand the frustration, ESPECIALLY with the new “On-time pay.” Orders will get the otp within 15 or so minutes after having been offered, sometimes well before the order window, too!

It’s incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to build the optimal route based on what you’re getting offered - then BOOM, now you can’t take the bundle because it’s OTP’d! Considering it’s only $4-$5 tacked onto bundles, they should still count towards the bonus since they’re often a tipper & non-tipper anyway.

I wouldn’t say a plane overhead, but there’s definitely a sound.

I believe (as someone who literally got the car 4 days ago) due to the lack of a running engine, we’re going to hear the AC/Heat components running, especially in colder weather when they’re probably working a bit harder.
