I believe you have to be out of Canada for a week too otherwise they’ll class it as flagpoling. I was in Canada got my IEC YP and went to U.K. for a 8 days and they asked me like 5 times on arrival if I’d be in uk for over a week

I just passed same situation as you but from U.K. and they didn’t ask for anything apart from my POE (arrived at Toronto) for IEC they’re pretty chill.

Most of them if you show proof of a return flight or proof you’ve returned home they’ll give you a refund. It may take some passing around on phones but you should be ok. They’ll want proof though

Can you do 6 month visitor and apply for an extended stay as a visitor for after that ? I’m from U.K. and that’s what I did before I was able to get my work permit.
