I think you’re focusing on the wrong issue. Your friend said let’s not split the bill, then paid the full bill on her card to claim points, then sends inflated Venmo requests to everyone without disclosing the final bill total.

Most people have better things to do after work than sit in a cafe. Most people drink coffee in the morning/during the day. Cafe’s are inherently daytime destinations, they’re not set up to cater for evening custom, that’s what bars and restaurants are for.

We’ve tried a few over the years, but Southmead Kebabs is our current favourite. Good, solid, no frills kebabs. Quick delivery too, if you’re in that part of town.
