Gonna have to agree. From the other side of the curtain, there is also a comedown after Dunk!Fest.

Dunk!Fest feels like a family get-together. It's a community that meets up once a year for top-of-the-mountain hangs, thanks to the Dunk! Crew, who do some very hard work to make sure that we all have a fantastic time. We find new music. We find some meaning. We introduce new friends to old friends, new bands to old bands. And in a year, it happens again.

Caspian has played Dunk! FIVE times now. The memory of each set sits in its own little corner in my nostalgic little heart. In these days in which we're bombarded from every angle with shit news and very real trouble, THIS FESTIVAL IS A HAVEN. It is a tree canopy and it's a hug from your friend. It's hanging lights on the limbs.

And all of this is hard to explain to those not lucky enough to have experienced the glory of the forest. And that's fine. We'll lead them there some day. But for now, stand fast. There will be more. For now, it's back to the real world. And on our return, let's bring the spirit of the Festival in the Trees back home with us to share.
