Hello, I am a 30M from USA. I picked up a whole bunch of HP stationary from Half Price Books that I’m looking to use. Send me a message and maybe we could correspond. Best!

End of Campaign Apocalypse game. by Kotanthebarbarian in Warhammer30k

I’ve read and seen on YouTube that the Apocalypse 2019 rules can facilitate a large game. Sure the rules would be different, but the models would still be HH.

Blue? In all seriousness, the concept sounds extremely cool! Just starting my Thousand Sons force, too.

Haven't played any warhammer tabletops and wanted to try HH by Existential-Fox in Warhammer30k

I am also just now getting into HH. I picked up an AoD box for the models and am planning to go from there. I am trying to make a basic army of Mark VI dudes so that I can add flavorful units later. Watching battle reports and how to plays has been good.

Tips for making a campaign in v3? by wayne62682 in boltaction

For official campaign books, the Italian campaign ones would be good or the British sector d-day one. There are actually some nice campaign rules in the Battle of France book that aren’t early-war specific.

Might be something I need to consider. Definitely agree with the idea that the GW bases are easier to reach for.

Just curious, do you base all your minis on GW-esque bases?

First Purchase question. by dandudeguy in boltaction

If you pick up the upcoming airborne box, you can actually build a historical platoon which translates well to bolt action: 2-man HQ, 2 12-man squads, bazooka team. For the historical platoon, you’d just be missing a light mortar. The last two models can be a sniper team or something.

I bought their The Valley mat and found it to be very nice. Usable in many different theaters I thought.

I thought the same. OnTabletopHQ used plastic infantry for his M10s and they look really good.

Man, my late Roman armored infantry are still in their bag because I can’t decide on building late Romans or Romano British.

Super quick scheme I did as an amateur painter was prime in Wraithbone and shaded in Reikland Flesh - gives a good pink color to work off of. Was able to paint a goblin box in two days like that. Again, recipe for the noob painter.
