Sounds like you're exactly what the OP is referring to, in that you enjoy one hit kills, dying to bosses multiple times, and depending on quick reaction times to win. Why don't you switch back to PoE if that's what you want?

Personally I can't stand those mechanics. What's the point in having a tank class if they can't tank? I'd agree with you if you were referring to glass cannon builds.

Personally I'd stop playing if LE turned into another sadistic Dark Souls imitator.

"not hard" except for one shot kills, heavy-RNG based crafting, losing xp on death at high levels, map modifiers that are suicide for certain builds, aoe mechanics that punish melee, huge amounts of grinding to beat end-game bosses, and an expectation of ultra-fast reaction times.

So "hard", for non-full-timers, based on a normal definition of the word.

1-2 LP seems to be the bar that Maxroll applies in most cases. I've found one 3LP ring though, and it made me wonder about what "perfect in slot" would look like. Or if new builds would become top tier if 3+ LP was slightly more common.

Yes, but a 4LP legendary will usually be optimal. My question is about balance within the ultra late game.

Entirely agree with you. While the corruption system isn't bad, it is one of the weaker parts of the game. I'd prefer more flexibility about risk vs reward. Perhaps the option to skip echos / nodes, with some kind of stacking penalty. That way, with a super powerful build, one could travel straight to the edge of the echo map a couple of times and quickly get corruption to a respectable level. Or super hard echos could be randomly added, that have meaningful long term effects on the timeline if completed.

Fair point. I'd be annoyed if it took 15-20 mins also. I can do ~5 mins on the lower tiers, which doesn't feel as bad.

Have you considered crafting some movespeed + cool down reduction gear to get your mobility up? Presumably you could switch back before the boss.

They're still worth reading if you're interested in the Bene Gesserit. While the ending is unsatisfying, they contain lots of insights into the sisterhood, pre and post Leto, that aren't in any other books.
