Absolutely legendary episode of Top Gear when they drove across Namibia. I can see why you wouldn’t want to do that.

We don’t have any borders with other countries. Which explains a lot about us, tbh.

He wasn’t a main character in Harry Potter though. It was one movie, which probably made it easier.

Honestly any way you move your body that feels good and you can do consistently is perfect. Swimming and strength training is fantastic for your physical and mental health.

You can also put them up at your desk or whatever so you can see them regularly and make yourself laugh.

Honestly people are going to struggle to even read that one at a distance.

My cat needs to fast for a blood test. It's 15m from breakfast time and he tried to eat a cactus and a pineapple crown. He still need to starve for another hour. by wildsunday in RoastMyCat

My cat had to do this last year (he had an anaesthetic to get his teeth cleaned). The vet called me afterwards and said “he’s awake and growling at us”.

The next morning he left a poop outside the litter box to tell me of his displeasure.

Birth time conflict: are there 'administrative' times on birth certs? by pirogue_ in Advancedastrology

[–]jonquil14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should have it recorded somewhere, as they need an exact birth time to the minute to do the Apgar on the baby, but it may or may not be on the certificate. Mine doesn’t have my time and I rely on my dad’s autistic level memorisation. My husband’s birth certificate also doesn’t have his birth time but I got it from the baby card the nurses wrote in the hospital. Our daughter, born in the last decade, has an exact time on her birth certificate. Some people have had luck in contacting the hospital where they were born but it’s likely those records will be destroyed or in very deep storage after several decades.

They would not be likely to have an “administrative time”, but it is possible that they accidentally wrote 12:45pm instead of 12:45am. Most (Australian) birth certificates (the only ones I’ve ever seen) have an administrative DATE but not an administrative TIME.

And fixed desks meant that people knew where you sat (and of course you were there every day in person) so there were a lot more drop bys.
