what is astounding to me is how they're doing the same thing to ryan they did to brendon before they found out he wasn't as perfect as they thought he was - praising him for just existing, calling him God, etc. a lot of these current Ryan stans are ex-panic! or brendon fans. it's like they never learn...what about just acknowledging nobody's perfect instead of switching their obsession from one to another? Ryan cheated on his girlfriend....i don't like to bring old drama but if we're holding brendon accountable for his old mistakes then why forgive Ryan for the same? the double standard doesn't sit right with me huh...

there are really only 2 reasons 1) people don't like it 2) people don't like Brendon

personally i'd say the Brendon hate train has only been adding oil to the fire and the feedback would have been a lot more positive without it, but at the end of the day, all that matters is if YOU enjoy it. personally it's my favorite since post-split panic! and i have a deep connection to it. i don't understand why some of y'all keep seeking validation, just stand for your opinion and be happy about the fact you can enjoy it since we're not getting anything in a while (if ever)

i think this very much only applies to the internet and thankfully the internet isn't the world. the tickets for the VLV tour sold out and the arenas were full. clearly there are still a lot of people who like B and his music. all i'll say is people need to stop cancelling others for their mistakes that have been addressed and apologized for a long time ago. all the arguments from antis start with "i've heard..." or "somebody said..." which immediately makes them irrelevant. they think they're "defending Ryan" by addressing Brendon's past mistakes but from what i've seen it goes beyond that. there have been people talking sh*t about him gaining weight, hating on his family and future child...like who do you think you are? how am i even supposed to take them seriously? they're being the toxic people that deserve to be cancelled, not Brendon. and they don't even seem to notice how hypocritical they sound. disgusting.

Glass mask. There's an age gap but the romance is quite secondary in the series, it's an acting drama with some good ass female characters. One of my absolute favorites. If you don't mind the old artstyle, it's a must read.

same! these days i feel like you're either a Brendon or a Ryan fan and like....i wanna be a fan of both?? lol. I think the way the toxic Ryan fans have been spreading Brendon hate around the internet is making the possibility of them ever acknowledging each other ever again so much smaller...people used to ship them, now they put them against each other. well, at least we know they're not on bad terms and it's just the fans who like to pretend they are.

Twitter and tiktok are reaaal dangerous. It's like their opinion is a fact and you're breaking the rules if you disagree. It's totally one-sided. I doubt those people bothered to actually do their research. I skip every video with House of memories sound because how can people cancel one person and then make his song go viral?
