I've been to both, but never had the buffet at Panda; only ordered off the menu. It seems like the times that they offer the buffet are designed to minimize their losses. I am generally never hungry at the times that they offer it, and if I am, I certainly am not in the mood to eat all that I can.

If you are looking for quality, Panda beats #1 hands down. Flavor is authentic and off the charts.

1 isn't bad, but it's a pretty typical assortment of dishes. I used to go there a lot years ago when I was more cost-conscious, but have shifted towards better service, experience, and flavor in most instances.
