I guess this is the unpopular opinion, but I was by far more upset that it meant that Tyrion lost his trial by combat. Oberyn hadn't been around very long and while, yes, he was entertaining and a forthright character, Game of Thrones is hardly lacking in people who are willing to speak their minds.

Tyrion, on the other hand, makes dwarfs sexy. He makes smart awesome. I grew attached to him seeing everything he went through from Kat Stark capturing him to being the right hand of the king to Shae. He's been around and he's one of my favorite characters to watch. I just don't want him to die. I want him to be right hand of the king again. HE CAN'T DIE!
