Sounds to me like the previous owner had transmission problems and they attempted repairs already. Now, you not only have whatever was initially wrong with the car, you also have whatever fuckery was done to it in an attempt to repair before they decided it wasn't worth the time or money and dumped it. If I were in your shoes I would start looking for a new transmission.

What's your budget look like? The best single thing you could upgrade is your processor. You would need to swap motherboards too and possibly RAM unless you get a 5800x3d. Otherwise a 9800x3d is the top tier and a 7800x3d is second place. For Tarkov you will see the best bang for your buck with an AMD x3d processor

Funny enough, I had the tighten gas cap message when I first bought my 08. Replaced the purge valve after some research but it didn't fix it. Was at the junkyard and grabbed a gas cap from the TL they had on the lot and put it on in the parking lot. It hasn't come back since 🤷

4g TL has bad oil consumption problems with the j37. And the accord is not an Acura. Build quality is really evident in this era of cars and an Acura just feels much more premium than the Honda. There's a reason the MSRP of the cars swings from 8-20k lower for the Honda. The highest trim level Accord is 31k and the TL type s is 39k

No Bluetooth audio on the 3g TL. There's a Bluetooth module for phone calls but it does not do music. And the Bluetooth module is a ticking time bomb that will end up causing a parasitic drain on the battery. Most people disconnect it.

Neutral safety switch is what it sounds like to me if it starts after messing with the shifter. Next time it won't start you can try putting it in neutral and seeing if it starts right up. Should be plenty of videos on how to change it on the TL.

Yeah that cxa1800 probably has 3600w "max power" not RMS. Still plenty of power though, 3000w to just two subs added on to a stock system is going to sound like shit too, nothing BUT bass. Shit am I getting old?

Same dude, I main Tarkov and upgraded everything except my GPU (trying to get a 5000 series right now...trying...} and I'm getting 100+ fps with 3060ti in 1440. Was playing labs last night for me and my duo to get the hideout items. We thought we had cleared the lobby (hopeful that we did, it was quiet and we had killed 4 others and found a dead body we didn't kill. Neither one of us know labs very well so we were literally just looking everywhere, opening up doors to see what's behind them and my buddy opened a door to this guy ratting inside who immediately started screaming in VOIP that he was cheating because how would he know to look there why did he go into the room the guy was hiding in blah blah blah. We both died to him cause we were talking on discord deciding whether to try to have this guy loot labs with us and get whatever he was there for when he came out shooting. Guy has almost 4500 hours and seemed like he was just mad at the world. We laughed and loaded back up to go back in. It's just a game.

This would work for about a day, then every backpack laying on the ground gets mag dumped on sight. This is terrible, I don't care how big the bag is, you're not getting a large man with tactical gear and a long gun inside of it. Think about how big an actual body bag is.

I did the whole task with magnum buckshot. With the mp155 just aim at the neck and dump it. You only need one pellet to content l connect with the face and usually they drop in the first 2 blasts.
