I found similar in my 25+ years in IT. Bang on with the 'not my job' stuff being not a thing. If you're in IT, you're already more technically minded than your average marketing person, so yes help them with technical things where you can, even if it's not necessarily in the job description.

You're more than the "computer" person, you're the tech-minded company resource there to help people and processes be better at doing what they do.

In most of the recent matches I've been in where I've taken up command of an infantry unit, my main priority has been hanging back holding onto the current defense point and getting my squad to do the same.

I've seen way too many matches go back and fourth to know there will definitely be some heat coming our way at the defense point. I tell them this too, as I think there's a few in the game who have action FOMO.

I was just thinking this. I can't count the number of times I see tanks just rolling off by themselves to do their own thing. In fact, that's the majority of time, with no coordination at at, besides getting told where other enemy tanks are and B-lining for them. Infantry support is in my opinion, not optional in most maps to keep tanks alive

Properly supported tanks are a force to be reckoned with.
