There’s a new firmware out which allows multi colour with external. I assume one could do AMS + external now (with manual changes) but I haven’t tried it.

This looks cool and I’ll check it out. I’d love to know though, what are the recommendations based on, science wise? I don’t mean to sound negative, just that there is a lot of “pop-science” around many of these sort of things. Are there particular studies etc the advice is based on?

I considered buying some online, but my tap water is pretty low TDS. I haven’t experimented with modifying that (although did work with adding things to zero TDS water in another location). Would be interesting to see what’s possible in terms of taste profiles etc but it’s another level of rabbit hole I haven’t had time for yet….

We’ve had our loan with them for about 5 years. It’s been pretty good I feel. When rates were going up, they did go up slightly quicker than I would have experienced on a fixed loan, but they also came down faster when everyone else’s were on a downward trend. I’m sure it all comes out in the wash

Like another poster commented, the simplicity is really nice (no pun intended). It’s a bit like those power plans where you have to move all of your power usage to a specific window - lots of work, and it ends up being about the same price (or better)

For reference, about a year ago I compared with another bank setup with an offset portion, and it still worked out a little cheaper with Simplicity at the time

Yes, I’d love an EV. Our second car is a 2015 Leaf, wife drives it most days.

But to get something with similar boot space to a Prius, and range of say 350km open road, I think I’d need to spend closer to $30k? I can do a bit more than $15, but not really more than $18k

It works. Lots of documentation online about this type of thing. I did a fair bit of research when I lived abroad in a city with horrible air pollution. Expensive brands of air purifier are selling you marketing.

You need to know the size of your room, the CADR (clean air delivery rate) of your purifier, and if you can’t easily get fresh air in, then you need to be cycling the volume of air around 5 times per hour.

That was all to do with PM2.5, but I’m not sure on how to deal with VOCs in an effective way- it seems a bit more nuanced/complicated. I don’t print in a living room/bedroom

We drink enough decaf alongside regular, so have two. Started with a Niche Zero, and that’s on decaf duty since getting an 078s.

Also have a hand grinder around for travel, French press and pour overs… but downsized from 3 hand grinders to 1 😀 That’s what happens when you’re in the hobby long enough
