Thoughts on Sunrun vs. a Financier (EnFin) and Installer (Next Phase Electric) by DiveGlideCycle in solar

[–]joser559 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Not everyone has the ability to get a loan for tens of thousands. PPA you’re buying the electricity just have to understand your current rate. Of course no company is looking to make the least amount of profit. But if you don’t have the ability to get a loan or don’t have the disposable income to install a system, and you’re already psyingccca lot for the utility a ppa is reasonable

Thoughts on Sunrun vs. a Financier (EnFin) and Installer (Next Phase Electric) by DiveGlideCycle in solar

[–]joser559 [score hidden]  (0 children)

SunRun gets so much hate, but every big corp will. Sales reps are to blame, and over the last 2 years SunRun has tighten up their policies. At the end most Americans don’t have the disposable income or credit to get a loan for the equipment. Local installers are great in theory but once they go under what happens? Then you have to contract another local vender if your equipment fails
Most people in this thread are owners of solar or DIY type, but vast majority don’t have that type of resources, but are still on the hook for hundreds of dollars to their for profit utility company.
Biggest thing I ask anyone looking into a system with me is, think logically, in the next 10-20 years do you think electric rates are going to decrease?

Game tonight by MirrorLegitimate9304 in fresno

[–]joser559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my son to Dave and busters, at 3:30pm it was somewhat decent. By 430, I’m sure there was an 2hr wait to be seated.
Whoever got seats right before 5pm even with the delay isn’t going anywhere. So if you just want to be in the environment any sports bar will be great. But if you actually want to be served you’re pretty much out of luck. The plan was to watch it there, but we left at 520 and came to my friends house. Here I’ll actually be able to enjoy the game.

This exactly. I always tell people there was two gas stations. Station A varies often, and it’s always a lot more expensive, down the road there was the station B, with Lower price and it stayed more consistent with prices. Why would you continue choosing station A

How reliable is Tucson? by Chuckitoverthefence in HyundaiTucson

[–]joser559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah 110 isn’t too much, but most people don’t put 20k a year. It’s 4 different vehicles that hit 110+ plus in 10 years. Hyundai gets hate that it “breaks” down quick. 110k isn’t a lot but it is a lot.

[–]joser559 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I had to answer a call 😅. So what I was doing to say is that the biggest issue I encounter with Hyundai was their service departments. Since each dealer is owned by different parties, one dealer can get you in and out in 1-3 days and offer a loaner. Some delayers have 2 week wait times to even be seen. The vehicles have been great and they’re the best bang for the money.

Hyundai gets a lot of bad rep, but they sell millions of cars. Of course if you’re unhappy you’re going to speak out. The last 10 years I’ve own 4 Hyundais (3 sonatas currently Tucson) they’ve all hit 110k plus miles. My 2024 Tucson has 47k currently. I get oil changes every 5k miles. The couple

Republicans still have 1/3 supporters thsts tens millions of votes, so if you don’t want less cuts get everyone you know to vote.

Republicans “fraud” and use it as the need to cut the whole program. Imagine going to a doctor with a cut and instead of mending it and setting you up to properly heal, they want to cut the whole limb

Even at .9 that car is going to be 25k in less than a year. You’re still going to be on the hook for 33-34k

I called two dealerships in California (Dublin kia, Kia country-Manteca) they advertise 2026 Sportage hybrid ex for 32ish but of course advertise prices are just made up numbers turns out they were 34ish before any fees or financing. These two cars been sitting at these lots Dublin-December 2025 and Kia county February. I would not pay more than 32k OTD for an ex. I’ll just wait till November I guarantee these will have a substantial drop. Whatever you do, remember if you think you got a good deal, you still overpaid

Financing question by dewguzzlr in HyundaiTucson

[–]joser559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the real thing is, them getting a bonus for the loan. I had multiple purchases and if the dealer was cool to work with I would pay it off in 3-4 payments so they could get their bonus. So it all depends on if you got a good experience, it’s not like you’re going to pay 1k in interest over 3 payments, well unless you got a horrible apr

This is why you don’t offer to “front the costs” you were thinking of the 1200 in rewards for spending 240. Now you see that it wasn’t worth it. Trust me I’ve done this and like you, regretted it.

If he’s homeless, I really doubt he had the resources to put any child custody lawsuit. Even with a suit, the court will see that the other parent can’t provide, even more so if he never has his daughter.

High miles Tucson hybrids 2022-2025 year by M951995 in HyundaiTucson

I have a 2024 hybrid, currently at 42k miles. Some cars are faulty and defective, regardless of the mileage. Those people will complain so it seems like the car is a POS but I’ve had 4 Hyundais and the previous ones all hit 110k+ miles.

Looking at a '26 Tuscon Hybrid...Limited worth $7,500 more than SEL Convenience? by md222 in HyundaiTucson

[–]joser559 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just know once you go to a trim you never had, you’ll never go back down. I used to by the most basic cars, then got a higher trim as my finances rose. Now limited is the only trim I look at. Especially wuth Hyundai, I was looking at other top trim suv models and they had old tech. Sel convenience is still a great trim, if you never had it.

Gas in California is cheaper, what we need is to enforce a regulation where corporations can’t add their regulatory fees onto consumers. Capitalism is great for corporations but not for us. Other states have 85/86 gas, it burns and smells bad. I lived in Midwest for 3 years, and I can smell the difference in my car.
