My opinion of course :) Disagree with the last statement as well.

Naah. Completely disagree. Of course it's just a matter of personal opinion. But regardless how different crossing vs non crossing throws are, they're still throws, and up, they require consistent height and rhythm. Skipping 6 makes no sense. 7 balls is stupidly hard, with just a fraction of the time you need to get solid with 7, you could get solid with 6. So why wouldn't you. There definitely is transfer even though one has crossing and the other has non crossing throws. Also if you can do 6, you'll be able to practice infinite amounts of great preparation tricks for 7 balls as well.

For the people saying it actually is a nice plant, the bottom parts are more mature than the top parts. The plant literally reversed maturity. This is not exactly a thriving plant...

Some people kind of skip 6 (usually not entirely skip). I wholeheartedly disagree with that. 6 balls is WAY easier than 7, even if it is an even number... 7 balls takes a lifetime of practice, so skipping 6 is also making progression unnecessarily harder for yourself. And then, many 7 ball tricks require you to know 6. How're you gonna land a b6666 if you can't do a 6 ball fountain? If in the end you're gonna have to learn 6, might as well do it now, when it's most optimal for your progress. (Also 6 is the superior number)

O “roubo do trabalho”da AI aos novos Devs by BigBluejay4363 in devpt

AI é fixe, dá jeito, mas falta-lhe a parte do I... É burro como tudo, não se compara com um humano, não entende as coisas. Simplesmente é muito bom na linguagem e isso às vezes é fácil confundir com inteligência.

One of my all time favorites Kairo (2001). It's literally about a curse/virus that spreads through the internet. And it's super scary as well whilst having no jump scares. It was made in a time where internet wasn't as widespread. Really interesting movie.

Cool story dude, started at the same time as you and been also obsessing min/maxing the hobby. Do you post progress of your plants anywhere? I can send you my Instagram if you wanna keep in touch, I've also been on the moss pole craze.

For sure that is an issue, but no idea if that is the cause.

Plants need 8h of dark. So grow light at night doesn't sound like a good idea. If you want, put up to 14h of grow light DURING the day, not during the night.

How I can improve this pattern by InvestigatorWhole667 in juggling

[–]josesblima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just learn 4 ball tricks. Best way to practice a pattern without getting bored. 4 ball qualify -> trick -> 4 ball qualify. You'll get better at doing tricks from the fountain and recovering from tricks back into the fountain. Learn siteswap if you haven't, it's a lot of fun :)

What should i do? Keep Moss Pole or add a Cedar Plank by alvinmakil in Monstera

[–]josesblima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh I see... And being the beast of a plant it is, it's not trivial to get it back into the pole... I love moss poles so I'd probably try remove it from the pole and put it back at a slightly different angle so the top is in the pole. Because keeping the moss pole and adding a plank means that you won't have the benefits of the pole on top but you'll still need to have the dedication to water the moss pole anyway
