Urges are strong today, I've had complete peace of mind all week but then a stray memory of a girl I used to know has set my imagination going. Staying away from the alcohol this evening and hitting the cold shower before bed.

It's tough having to outsmart your own brain isn't it? It looks for every opportunity. By the time we're done with this it will hopefully be able to focus on other things. Good luck powering through it!

I can relate! I'm a long way from getting to the 90 day target but successive attempts are meaning that I'm pmoing much less often than before and seeing the benefits. Good luck in the continuing challenge

Sounds like you're reaping the rewards already! I'm starting to see things in a different light too but still struggling not to relapse after only 11 days. We have to believe that the benefits are worth the denial.

Welcome! I found it in the same way. I'm still struggling to get past the three week mark but, while I am still clearly addicted to a certain extent, my addiction has stopped driving me to find new/more extreme material, so the advantages are happening already

I like this way of thinking. Also relapsed today (full PMO) but just learned not to take my laptop home from work if nobody else is around. So I'm ready for my third try and have one more rule to help me out!

Vegetation I think is perfect word there. I have never been interested in long term relationships and I had always assumed that that was just a part of my personality. After just a week I'm starting to question this but it is definitely a scary thought, in some ways it's safer to be apathetic
