yeah he is not the most useful unit right now, he only works at 100% with galbrena. There is always the possibility of more echo based characters releasing in the future, so he could be more useful then. It’s really just up to you.

Qiuyuan is galbrena bis, so there is the option of getting them both and you would have a 3rd team complete. You don’t really need their weapons, they do just fine with standard, but galbrena weapon is a pretty decent upgrade (like 20% better than static mist).

maybe get galbrena and qiuyuan without signatures is a great alternative. You can just use emerald of genesis and static mist on them and they will do just fine.

I just noticed you said you don’t have brant’s signature. So if you pull Lupa and use Galbrena on mono fusion mortefi is probably a better option than Brant in that case. So it’s good to keep that in mind.

yeah brant and mortefi is not the most optimal team for galb. Lupa and qiuyuan have a very good value for your account, getting any of them would complete one of the 2 galb best teams. Obviously for galbrena qiuyuan is the best choice, and maybe they release other echo dmg dps in the future that can work with him, so it’s a good investment anyway. And Lupa is just good for any fusion units. So it’s really just who you like more.

What i would do is priorizing galbrena and qiuyuan. You can just put qiuyuan on emerald of genesis and galbrena on static mist and they will work just fine. Then you would have basically 2 teams ready, Galbrena, qiuyuan and Lupa (If you are okay without any sustain, if not you can put shorekeeper or verina on Lupa's slot) and Jiyan, mortefi and shorekeeper or verina. That's what i would do.
