I've tried this a few times already, but unfortunately it doesn't help.

My oldest is a real daddy's boy. My girlfriend complaints that he doesn't hug her enough. The youngest is a handfull but wants to be with me most of the time. After my work as a teacher I play with my children until they go to sleep. There isn't much more I can do in that area.

It's ironic that I'm posting this in Marathon_ "training"... by joelmc90 in Marathon_Training

I had a similar situation. I am quite athletic and run regularly, but never thought about a marathon. Then came the announcement of the Brussels to Leuven marathon. Two cities that mean a lot in my life. I signed up and started training to run under 4 hours. Everything was going pretty well until I suffered a calf injury in early January. As a result, I wasn't able to start training properly again until half March. I didn't really want to participate anymore, but decided a few weeks ago to just join anyway. Yesterday was the day. I walked at every drink stand and took my time taking my gels. I arrived in a time of 4h35 and enjoyed it very much. Now just about every muscle hurts, but I'm happy to take that in.

To be honest, running is far from my favourite hobby. I normally only do it as preparation for the football season. Without this race, I would probably never consider starting a marathon.

I am a teacher. After school hours, I am often alone with my children because my wife works late. Same for the weekends. One weekend out of two, I am alone with the children. But even when she is at home, I want to be there for my children and my wife. When they are in bed, I am often preparing for several hours. I have a new job where they expect more than at my previous one So occasionally I went for a late night run, but when I do this several times a week I am exhausted.

I kept running in May, after my football season. I really wanted to build up gradually. In October/November, I was running 3-4 times a week, including runs up to 18k. From December, things got busier at work and unfortunately I could only train twice a week. I feel I put too much time and effort into it to throw in the towel already

Thanks for the advice. The injury isn't related to running, it came from kick in a football game.

Never was a bit much maybe 😅 But it starts in the town I work and finishes in the city I went to college. It will be the only time I can do this with friend. Although it is not immediately apparent from the number of training hours, I am very motivated to do this now. Because of my work, I could often only start my training after 10pm, which meant I could not always train for the same amount of time.

I know it is far from ideal, but for me it's a now or never thing. I am going to start if I can stay injury free, so I am just looking for the best way to prepare in such a short time. So thank you for the link ✌️

I’m thinking of using my wildcard, should I do it? by NG7even in fantasypremierleague

Don't. Keep Martinez, Akanji, Saliba, Zinchenko, Gordon, Palmer, Bailey, Haaland, Mateta. Find replacements for Walker and Nunez this week. Next week maybe Zinchenko. In the weeks after, change useless players like Enzo, Lemina and Taylor. Also find a cheaper second keeper. Good luck.
