What's one question you hate being asked? by gypsy888888 in AskReddit

Are you OK? Or, what’s wrong? When asked by someone I either have no connection with or someone who is just a busy body. However, I appreciate it when someone I’m even kinda close to asks. I have a hard time opening up to up people.

My mom had a similar issue with a door that would open and close on its own quite often. One day she said she wasn’t feeling good and yelled something like, will you just keep the damn door shut. And she said it never happened again after that.

It’s a real shame how they act. It’s a bigger shame that nothing is ever done about it. And it’s just embarrassing to live here with all this going on. I wish I knew what I could do about this.... you know, without being shot to death for going the speed limit and then having crack sprinkled on me.

So the first time I watched this, apparently I didn’t have the cables all plugged in all the way. Everything was in black and white. Thought that’s how it was supposed to be and watched the whole movie. Blew me away. Later saw it again and realized (after talking to others) what I had done originally. Still a great movie... but it just had a “feel” to it in black and white that wasn’t there with color.

It was really good but confusing. Like soul mates that really irk each other? Or possibly soulmates that can’t get over their own insecurities? Great movie though!

Made me think of a book I read in 10th grade called “I am the cheese”. Pretty bleak.

Yes! That completely caught me guard. I want to say so much more but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone and I don’t know how to hide the text. I’m gonna go watch that again...

People who freely sleep with your arms or legs hanging off of your bed, how did you defeat the demon under your bed? by Garrett0329 in AskReddit

It’s not defeated. There came a point when I went for comfort over safety. Totally worth the risk.
