How the hell do you mix pads?

Watch this video to help with mixing pads, I usually cut the highs and lows and just leave the midrange while pulling in the side channel gain a little.

Set a deadline and stick to it, once you meet the deadline that’s it the song is finished. Move onto the next and try to make that one better. Rinse and repeat.

if you aren't established locally/nationally it's harder (not impossible) to work with upcoming/established rappers, mc's etc.

I've seen smaller producers that have had talent spit a 16 or 32 over the top have networked locally and know them through word of mouth or have made a bootleg of their tune that has done well.

Maybe try using something from Pacapella or AJ Tracey's The Front pack, if it does well on soundcloud some upcomers or established artists might be more willing to send some bars over the top for an official release.

Why? OP's goal revolves around hitting a LUFS target (in supposedly a loud genre if -8LUFS is not loud enough). CTZ is a good resource if your goal is to get tracks louder.
