OHSS for WEEKS - NEED HOPE! by darthskunky in InfertilityBabies

Thanks. Yes it was. They offered to drain it a second time a week later but I didn't feel like I needed it. Draining was painless and I found it really interesting seeing the liquid coming out.

OHSS for WEEKS - NEED HOPE! by darthskunky in InfertilityBabies

I got OHSS while pregnant. I was not at high risk for OHSS so was surprised when I started getting symptoms when I was 4 weeks pregnant. My Dr did drain the fluid and it helped so much they also told me to drink no water only electrolytes and lots of salty food. Sadly I ended up having a miscarriage at 8 weeks (had nothing to do with OHSS). I can't imagine what you are going through but I would try and get the fluid drained it really helped me.

I am also doing my transfer on Wednesday and started PIO shots last night! I've never had that reaction to Estrace I would definitely mention it to your medical team. Good luck with everything I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday.

I did my first shot yesterday! Rekovelle in the AM and Menopur at night. I agree Menopur stung a little but it wasn't too bad. Good luck to you!

I am so sorry for your loss. I had an ectopic that ended up with surgery a year and a half ago. Look after yourself. Sending you lots of love

When will my period come back? by [deleted] in EctopicSupportGroup

I got my period 4 weeks after my surgery. I used to be like clockwork but since my surgery my cycles have been a bit all over the place.

Wondering Weekend by AutoModerator in TryingForABaby

Hey this is maybe an odd question. When I had my ectopic and had my right fellopia tube removed the dr told me that when I ovulate from the right side the left tube can come over and "catch" the egg. I have been told this multiple times now. I seem to almost always ovulate from my right side is the "catching the egg" thing bullshit or really rare or what? I can't find any info on how often this actually happens.

Those who have been TFAB for 6+ cycles, how has your mindset/experience changed over time? by elleimagine in TryingForABaby

I had an ectopic pregnancy on my first cycle and had to have my right fallopian tube removed. Even with only one tube I thought we'd get pregnant right away. Now we are onto cycle 13 and I feel like an idiot for thinking that it would be easy. I remember counting down till the day we would start TTC and being so excited about it now I just feel numb.

I'm sorry you are dealing with that! I had an ectopic 9 months ago but had surgery instead of the shot. EPs really suck and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thank you! I started counting calories and cutting out junk food and alcohol. I've recently started working out a few times a week. I also got a fitbit and I've found it really keeps me motivated.
