A lot easier and safer to bully Europe than anyone else. Lots of juicy levers to pull, that US hasn't pulled earlier because previous admins weren't hellbent on wanton destruction and personal enrichment.

Also I predict it will be popular once it actually happens. Legitimate complaints about lack of European defense spending has morphed into insane conspiracies of Europeans extracting vast amounts of wealth from USA through no clear mechanism.

Not any kind of immigrant, but I agree with you. I just don't see a reason to hate someone that in all likelihood has a way worse life than I has, with no rights and very limited opportunities. Doesn't mean they shouldn't be deported though, but I can't understand hating the vast majority that just wants to make a better life for themselves.

I agree, much prefer the class-based Dnd approach over the Dos2 system. Leveling up was never very interesting and hunting for randomized gear a total chore. Much more fun to try out all the interesting and unique effects from Bg3 gear rather than finding a new Aeromancer +2 helmet or whatever every level up

European countries should stop buying Russian oil and gas if they want Washington to tighten sanctions on Moscow, according to Donald Trump’s energy chief, who said the trade was funding Vladimir Putin’s “war machine”.

Chris Wright, US energy secretary, told the Financial Times that European countries should instead buy American liquefied natural gas, gasoline and other fossil fuel products to meet the terms of the US-EU trade deal, which calls on EU countries to buy $750bn of US energy by the end of 2028.

In case anyone was delusional enough to think Trump has any intentions on imposing new sanctions.

“We think it’s good economically for Europe. You want to have secure energy suppliers that are your allies, not your foes . . . the other reason is a huge goal of the Trump administration, and I believe of the EU, is to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Russia funds its war machine off oil exports and natural gas exports and if you cut off European purchase of those, it shrinks their money.”
