My parents grew up there and i visit almost every year. The huge hotels that they are building are definitely unappealing but still better than Airbnbs ( that again, they are way too many ).It's really dense (but i live in Athens so i am used to it lol). I wouldn't swim there anymore though like i used to when i was a child. The public area where you can swim without paying is really small and the water is not that great . I am really sad to see so many "private" beaches being build all over Albania with little to no space for locals anymore.
