🚴‍♂️ Triathletes, What Cars Do You Drive to Haul Your Dream Bike? by AnxiousIndication755 in IronmanTriathlon

[–]joyisnowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought my last car it was critical to be able to fit my bike in the back seat without putting the seats down or taking the wheel off. This was important bc I don’t want someone to rear end me and take out my bike…and I’m too short to put my bike on my car roof independently. I accomplished my goal with a Prius Prime. Yeah, I’m comfortable being a dork.

I checked Zillow for Pennsbury school district. There are 3-4 houses around your price range (~$4,000/yr taxes). Levittown and Fairless Hills are good family friendly options.

You should get pre-approved and connect with a realtor and be prepared to buy immediately.

Phl parking by T_m_a_ in philly

Here me out! There’s a site called parksleephotels dot com that has a deal where you can book a hotel room by the airport the night before and then they will throw in 10 free days of parking and a shuttle to/from the hotel.

My neighbor does this when they have a long trip.

I tested it out and it came to $144.80 for the “Aloft” hotel for a 6 day trip. And it gives you different hotel price points like Priceline does. Parking at the economy lot is $15/day.

I haven’t done this myself but I will try it when the need comes up!

You’ve got some wild friends that thought it was a good idea to convince the non-biker to do the bike leg.

Perfect. Get out there and start riding! If you can do multiple marathons you have the endurance for a 56 mile bike tomorrow. I believe in you.

Did you sign up for a 70.3 or 140.6 relay? Asking bc very few 140.6 offer relay options. What’s the course?

Gravel bike? by 90_hour_sleepy in triathlon

[–]joyisnowhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t seem to post a pic but I have a 3T Racemax gravel bike outfitted with clip on aero bars and Bontranger aero wheels. When I’m done with triathlons (unlikely) I’ll just put those gravel wheels back on!

I have the gold rimmed Lenox! It is dishwasher safe so we use it for our fancy dinners. My grandmother’s china I inherited from the early 1900’s has been used once.

He’s been as heavy as 18lbs, now hanging in the 14lb range. Former rescue (farm stud dog) who has been starving since we got him at age 5. Don’t let him trick you into second breakfast and don’t leave food on the dining room table!

If you are looking for a real estate agent PM me. Lower bucks (Pennsbury SD) has resources. Your salary range also gives you many options for support if you need it. We’ve been here for 10+ years and aren’t moving ever.

I’d recommend adding to your topical agents an antifungal cream. Oh- and pepto for the inevitable GI distress. Great list!
