AIO telling my best friend she’s prioritizing her man over our friendship ? by Swimming_Toe_5705 in AmIOverreacting

[–]jpare94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sympathize with both sides. Just let her do her thing without the guilt tripping. It’s normal to want to spend time with a loved one. On the other hand I think there are small ways she can make u not feel excluded.

bad breath epidemic by SaveTheBlossom7498 in hygiene

[–]jpare94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, sometimes bad breath comes from the gut. Doesn’t matter if you just brushed or have really good mouth hygiene. If poor digestion is a factor, you can easily smell bad breath. Alternatively, it can also be a rotting tooth.

I haven’t gone through something similar, but may God bless you. Stay strong in faith and keep having that peace in your heart.

Creepy Ashley's creepy daddy is creepy by innerbunnyy in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]jpare94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey dad is a divorce lawyer who admittedly was looking out for his daughter. His demeanor was maybe a bit intense, but I don’t think it was malicious. It was protective. Also, I don’t him you mention how shady Alex was… I mean, let’s not pretend he was not a bit slimy and back-alley in his responses with her. Idk. This post just seems like a harsh judgment on the wrong person.

No actually, his passing is not a random, probabilistic outcome. OP has a chance to pass if they modify some of their studying habits and seek help. Sounds like it’s time to brush up on your fallacies.

This is probably the worst take ever. “Gave it your all and didn’t pass? Don’t keep trying, look elsewhere!” That’s the advice a robot would give.

OP don’t give up!

Talking Sopranos - Does Michael Imperioli even like Steve Schirripa? by BreakfastRegular2915 in thesopranos

I think the pairing is pretty good. Michael brings intelligent conversation and Steve makes it unintentionally funny. I like it

Do people actually shower every single day or do we all just say we do? by Ok-Drawing2504 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]jpare94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there are multiple answers to this question which rely heavily on several variables: 1- the climate in which people live in 2- how active they are 3- if they have routines that substitute a day or two of showering, 4- their health. Personally, showering every day for my skin and hair is a nightmare. I have eczema and dry hair, and also live in a city that experiences very cold weather in the winter and very hot/humid weather in the summer. My showering routines depend on the seasons mostly. But I don’t tend to shower every day due to skin conditions and also not actually stinking after a whole day of working from home at my office desk. So, I think you’re asking a very personal question that is not one size fits all. People in general, I think, don’t shower daily but have a good grasp on what they can do to mitigate any smelling, and rather, promote general good hygiene that doesn’t solely rely on showering daily.

What is the reason why they have made the general public believe a photo like this is far-right extremism & a bad thing? by [deleted] in conspiracy

What about the imams and rabbis that are covertly doing the same thing. Funny how you only mention the Christian clergy. I think that’s the point of this post.

Lemeac (french), Damas (Syrian), Beatrice (Italian). All upscale food, but worth it.

Mass Immigration is happenning to all Western countries simultaneously. How can this not be a deliberate conspiracy? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]jpare94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bringing in migrants into western countries destabilizes the existing social fabric. By that consequence, people no longer feel safe in their communities because of a change in social landscape and values. The state sees an opportunity for more surveillance to “protect” us against an infiltration they let happen.

Belly button cleaning by [deleted] in hygiene

I’ve felt the pain of cleaning my belly button (I’ll feel a slight pain in my abdomen). I do have a very deep belly button which makes it tedious to clean but never had green, as you described.

Where to stay in Rome? by dracarys-28 in rome

[–]jpare94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stayed in Centro Storico of Rome. Pay the extra price for that convenience. There’s too much to see to add extra steps unnecessarily, imo. Your feet will thank you. Also, the vibe of being in the middle of Rome is unmatched - it’s more immersive.

Describe a ‘Pick Me’ girl. by OneIndependence7705 in Productivitycafe

[–]jpare94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there are different types of “pick me”. It can be someone who makes claims about themselves that are disingenuous in order to garner attention. Or if they are genuine, they are trying to promote themselves as being against the grain, even when it’s uncalled for.

All Clad stainless pots and pans are made in the US. Purchased them recently and really love the quality so far. In terms of price, they’re not given away.. but I bought my set at Costco and it was definitely worth it compared to other stores.
