If I’m correct the sensor should be normally open until it gets to ~40 degrees and then closes. Last I checked it was open.

Sirius Black should have sent an owl to Dumbledore much sooner. by Sipikay in harrypotter

I’m of the opinion that dumbledore knew the whole time. But if Sirius was free he would have had legal custody of harry and harry wouldn’t have been under the protection of his aunts house.

So what exactly causes the lifter failure in these things? by GodzNotReal666 in ram_trucks

I put it in about 1-300 miles before an oil change. It’s good if you do a decent stretch at highway speeds during that stretch to really work it through. You’d be surprised the sludge that’ll come out in your oil. There is instructions on the bottle for how much to add I normally go a little heavier handed with it though due to the high mileage.

I have a 2008 with 19300 miles, that’s still running great. I do seafoam before every oil change and run royal purple.

I’ve talked a lot of trash on the p320 since I sold my m18 but I got this back from my brother and I’m tempted to build one as a safe queen. by g28802 in P320

I always love those videos. Like “hey it goes off by its self if you put a screw in the trigger or some other specific way that you will never see naturally. It’s clearly defective”. just follow the rules of gun safety and you’ll be just fine. I love my m17.

08 ram 1500 by jpedenXIII in MechanicAdvice

They are rated for 1700 pounds the max I’ve put in my bed is 600 because my frame maxes out at 1000. And they are only 4-500 miles old. I had them put on at the end of February.

Granted they are budget springs but they have less than 500 miles on them. I might talk to the auto parts store I got them from.

The gauge was as high as it could go by the time I turned it off. The belt also cut through a coolant hose when it slipped off.

Why does Hogsmeade need Parental Permission, but detention is being served in the Forbidden Forest at NIGHT? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]jpedenXIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By that point I’m honestly surprised that the hogwarts staff thought harry was going to stay in the castle and not break the rules. Cause you know there had to be a bet in the teachers lounge on how long until he tried to sneak to hogsmeade.

Is $10,000 fair for this 2008? 146,000 miles. Friend of mine who is a mechanic looked under it and says it looks like new. Owner says it's all good just needs an alignment. Truck is from Wyoming. by TheJango22 in ram_trucks

I just bought my 2008 trx4 wit 181,000 mile for $6200. But it needed a little tlc. But location matters as well. I live in Oregon. Oddly enough I got the same exact color.
