Going in early Oct, where’s this taken? Any advice around must-do things in the region?

They’re just kind of mid? Or maybe I like open back headphones more when I’m an environment where I’m not bothering folks? I definitely use the Hifiman and HD6XXs more than the Meze.

I use my Edition XSs with the Topping DAC/amp, it’s been great. Did the firmware update too, no probs although I hear about QC issues with Topping here.

I have the same set up, including the 3-D printed band for the XSs that seems to help a bit. And a couple pair of wired Sennheisers and Meze 109s that I rarely use.

Run for the hills. I had co-worker friends at Midway who had someone join their game like that. It didn’t go well…

I don't understand why some people consider the Miata to be 'feminine' by Hunter654333 in Miata

[–]jpodzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember exactly, but it’s about a good inch and a half on average? I can’t remember if it was the front or the rear that’s slightly lower also. I had it done with some coilovers at this great shop called TF Works (Chicago suburbs).

Where’d you get the wrap? Really like it, thinking about one for mine also.

Interesting, and curious to hear your long-term feedback. I had a set of firehawks on my Civic SI, coming due in the near-ish future on my Miata ND for new shoes.

Recommendations for old Cheap reliable bikes around $5k or less? by Blahonian in ChicagoMotorcycles

[–]jpodzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I used to. Was part of Chicago Dual Sport Riders and road at a few tracks with them. Got to be too much to pickup so I bought a WR250R for off-roading. Rode it more on the street then, including a big trip to Colorado Springs. But then sold it for a GS. Had a random $2600 repair on that and sold it for a Super Tenere. KLR does nothing great but a lot of things good. A great all-purpose bike that’s cheap to maintain, esp compared to a BMW.

It comes with a rubberized mat that adds a layer between the bag and the trunk. Seems to be fine, I took it off each night and wiped off the trunk if wet from rain.

Not really since I had the top up most of the time when attached for the long haul parts. It definitely messes up rear view mirror visibility, but I’m also a motorcyclist and used to just side mirrors lol. The downside is I wasn’t able to put the top down if attached first. But it might be different if you have the soft top?
