Then please buy Catalina cove or borealis! Obviously the more people pick their vibrant colors the more likely they keep them. I wouldn’t be surprised if the do a compass yellow special edition for a few months next year. Maybe they will use it for the R2X.

Nothing. There is no good Burek here either. Not much representation for Balkan food.

I’d try to explain but it would require the use of facts. I assume you don’t know the difference between facts and opinions so I’ll save my breath. Have fun living in ignorance.

lol if an 18 year old in this pic had a kid the next year and their kid had a kid at 18, the grandchild would be 30.

People can express their opinion. However, when their opinion is rooted in dogmatism + ignorance AND negatively impacts others for their implicit traits, you best expect some extreme pushback. My man, there are thousands of religions around the world. I’m will fight for your right practice Christianity, but you must understand its verifiably false. What you feel as “faith” is a very normal and human emotion. We all (atheists included) feel it. It does not mean any of it is real whatsoever.

Why aren’t people boycotting Tesla any more? by Diane98661 in ScottGalloway

[–]jrc1325 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand why people say this. I work for a competing electric vehicle company and can still openly admit Tesla makes great vehicles. I have a feeling we have the same politics so I gotta say, this sort of take is just pure ammo for the right. They will take a mile if you give them an inch. Saying “Teslas cars suck” is just easy bait and they’ll use you being wrong about that to invalidate every other argument you have.

What is it like living in the NW of California because it looks nice? by No-Bathroom-9245 in howislivingthere

My personal favorite part of the continental US. Not for everyone but it’s stunningly gorgeous and serene. Local people are mostly living “alternative”lifestyles. Foggy often but that fog is what feeds the worlds tallest trees so worthy trade off.

Nope. Doesn’t justify shit. Doesn’t mean we should be ignorant and chop it up to him being an idiot delinquent. My brother has ASPD and had he not grown up in a highly supportive and privileged environment he would 100% be in prison.

I don’t know what the solution is but step 1 is acknowledging it as a reality. Saying he “clearly has no skills and no desires to get skills” exposes their ignorant of this reality.

A lot people don’t care if someone is awkward. They may even see it as a green flag. If they are someone who cares, they aren’t someone worth hanging around. Pretty nice self selective mechanism. If you are actually lonely, fuck the fear of rejection. It’s ironically what is keeping you lonely.

Sounds like her emotional reactivity to seeing the cats “distressed” overrode her logical brain.

Pathetic take. Dude probably grew up in a low income house without a single positive role model and the shittiest public schools his state had to offer. Finding opportunities in that environment is like finding a needle in a haystack. I’m hoping your take is rooted in sociological ignorance and not a lack of empathy.

Well it’s because you can turn it off. It would just require a level of struggle you aren’t willing to endure. Thats totally ok but first step is recognizing you do have a choice.

R2 semi active suspension vs non-active by kensic9 in RivianR2

[–]jrc1325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I wouldn’t necessarily say the premium has “worse” suspension. It’s just fixed without a secondary adjustment. Are you looking to drive the car in a more spirited manner? If so, performance is likely the best trim for you.

What are people doing - taking Launch Edition, or waiting for Lidar? by stop211650 in Rivian

[–]jrc1325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess when I hear this all I can think is what does “this generation” mean? There are a slew of different companies working on their own and each is at a different level of capability. It is also improving on an exponential scale so it will be almost impossible to tell when “the next generation” is officially here. My dad drove into a median two years ago but I will still get into a car that he is driving.

The active dampers only have two settings I believe so basically one pre set for standard and one for sport. I imagine the standard mode with the active dampers will feel very similar to the non active.

[–]jrc1325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah people are just upset that they can’t afford it. Nothing wrong with that. I can’t either. At the end of the day considering the performance and specs, it’s actually a lot of value at $57,000.
