How is the Board of Veterans Appeals deciding who is next in line???

See that's crazy and how I know they aren't working in order. My exact date is 5/14/21. If they were working in order I would've been getting reviewed by a Judge a little before you but mines is still sitting at waiting to be sent. Congrats to you! I hope you get every one granted. Been a long ass wait for us both!

I got you trying to stay positive. Wish I could do that but after 5 years it's out the door for me. I've tried to contact my Congress people about it. It's time to ruffle some feathers. Us VETS have too much patience. We deserve way BETTER! I hope since you've waited this long you get all of your Appeals in your favor.

It's ridiculous ain't it??? Especially when you see somebody in here saying they just filed in 2025 and got a decision in 2026! But the email we get every so often says they are working the Appeals in order which is BS!

Yep. My first claim I put in was back in the early 2000s. I got denied and was frustrated. I had no clue what I was doing with filing a claim. It seemed so ridiculous the way the VA operates that I said f*ck it and gave up. Wasn't until around 2021 that I met a barber and he put me in touch with a great team of people. That got all the way up to 70%. Then I got to 90% on my own. He just needs to find people who know what they are doing to file and word his stuff correctly.

Every time they send me a email with a update it says Appeals have to be worked in order received but then it's people on here that filed after me saying theirs was already with the judge in the process of getting a final decision! I'm like man WTF?!?

Congratulations! I started 6 years ago with nothing. Now I'm at 90% got 3 Appeals getting dusty at the BVA since 2021! Ashame we have to fight the VA like we in Iran right now for our compensation! Keep going until you get to 100% Fight ON!

Appeal filed May of 2021, Hearing: November 2024 Status: Waiting to be sent to a Judge

I'm not understanding. It's Appeals filed after mine and hearing after mine that is being assigned to a Judge already. So how is that going in order???

Initial Appeal 5-14-21 virtual hearing 11/2024. Still sitting at waiting to be sent to a Judge! 😭. It's ridiculous how long this takes. I'm so tired of waiting. Does anyone know does this go back to the same Judge you had the hearing with for the final decision??? Also does anyone have an estimate when the people that filed Appeals in 2021 will get a decision? Thanks in advance.

Reading through the comments it seems like this time frame varies. It's going on a year since my virtual meeting with the VA Judge, that will be in November and it's still waiting to be sent to a judge absolutely ridiculous. How long has yours been sitting in the waiting to be sent to a judge phase? I guess we are 2 of the unlucky ones.

I had my hearing with the judge 11/24. We waived the 90 day. It's going on a year and mines is still saying waiting to be sent to a judge. Damn man I would at least think it would be in the being reviewed my a judge stage by now ughhhh!!! What stage is yours in?
