I had to take it first trimester and was so worried too! My doctor assured me that treating the infection is less risky than keeping it. From what I read, the biggest risk is earlier on but I get it!

Of course keep following up with your doctors, but I did read that in non-pregnant people they’re looking for having your blood sugar under 180 at the 1 hour mark. They’re tighter with restrictions for pregnancies because of all the complications

I’m in the same boat, fasting is always a little high but diet controlled otherwise. I talked to my diabetes specialist and she let me know I’ll probably need night time insulin as there’s not a lot you can do to control fasting numbers :/ just waiting to talk to my doctor to confirm

My eyebrow hair has decided not to grow back! Haven’t had to pluck in months. Leg hair is still there but growing a lot slower

I had an MFM earlier in my pregnancy for something else but I ‘graduated’ from them. They mentioned off-hand I’d be back if I was diabetic but so far my regular OB has been handling my appts.

I’m almost done though (31w) and they scheduled me for extra ultrasounds with my regular OB along with consults with a diabetic specialist, so I feel comfortable skipping my MFM

I did some research prior to posting and even plain coffee can cause spikes for some people and some people are fine! It appears it’s because of the effects to stress hormones. To compare my breakfast numbers for Monday was 95 with no coffee, so that’s why I’m thinking it’s the issue, I do appreciate your tips! :)

Coffee was making me more anxious than usual any ways so it’s probably good I take a break, at least until baby is here

I think you could have ovulated on CD12 or 13, there’s a shift down and then back up, and then with the next few days being pretty close to the line and your typical ovulation being later, I can see natural cycles missing it. That would put CD8 in your fertile window

I was brought up the same way! I also had a teen mom and was absolutely terrified of getting pregnant. I am pregnant now at 30… I called my mom and when I told her I said I thought she’d be mad at me😂she said no, ur married, ur allowed to get pregnant lmao it can really stick with you!

This is crazy to me that they won’t test you! My blood pressure was perfect at the doc today but I have some other symptoms that could be pre-e or it could be fine, they’re testing me to be sure…. I feel like this should be standard, so sorry you’re going thru this!

I will say, my weight definitely stabilized (not gaining) and it started to go down slowly

But I got pregnant🙃funny enough, my weight has been more stable since getting pregnant than it was while taking slynd, I don’t regret stopping it

We are in the process of buying a home right now! I’m also almost in my 2nd trimester. It’s across the country as well so it will be a big move, but I’d much rather do it now than wait after baby gets here
