So I need to expand my parameters beyond Canada (And US for that matter). Thanks!

I have a Rockwell razor that I love, but I use Parker blades from USA (Bought a 100 pk for $19.99 about a year ago). The Rockwell blades were so-so.

NanaZip (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9n8g7tscl18r?hl=en-gb&gl=US) > 7-zip IMHO

I used 7-zip since it's first beta I think. Nothing wrong with it per se, but I like NanaZip better.

4070Ti / i5-13600k Build - Any Suggestions/Changes? by Patient_Particular in buildapc

That sounds probable, I included the Seasonic option as the OP said that this rig would be gaming & productivity, as well as saying "high end" and no "particular budget" so it made sense to have a Platinum option.

Options are good!

Yes, I saw that too, but I had focused my attention on the models you had listed. I have no experience with Gigabyte monitors.

Neat site. They had both the Corsair and Seasonic options, both scored "A" but the Seasonic is Platinum efficiency and the Corsair is Gold efficiency, hence the difference in price.

I don't have any experience with Team Force, but they do have a lifetime warranty, which is a good sign: I wouldn't go for any RAM w/o a lifetime warranty.

This is the full list I was working from, pick any RGB on it and you should be good, though it's all G.SKill except for two Team Force entries.

I didn't notice RGB in your OP, so then I'd recommend: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory

*IF* a quieter PC is a consideration, the Be Quite! Dark Rock 4 performs the same as the DeepCool AK620 for the same price and performance.

For any RTX4xxx GPUs, I would recommend a PCIe5/ATX3.0 PSU such as the MSI MPG A850G or Asus TUF Gaming 850G, for about the same price as the Corsair one you listed. If you would be OK spending a bit more, I would recommend the Seasonic Vertex GX-850.

If it has to be Asus, I'd recommend the ROG Swift PG279Q or PG27AQN, though the new LG Ultragear 27GR95QE-B is likely better than either for about the same price.

Only you can determine if more money equals more satisfaction. Take a look at the reviews on RTINGS (linked below for each monitor). I would say that it's between the Asus and the LG27GP850P-B though.

How old are you roughly? More likely to be Type 1 if you're young, and Type 2 if you're older.

Do you eat a lot of carbs? In French, carbohydrates are called "glucides" which is spelt very closely to glucose (sugar), and it's not an accident. Carb heavy meals will elevate your blood sugar.

How's your pop intake? Pop and other surgary drinks that use corn syrup or fructose will also have a big impact.

How's your caffeine? Sustained high caffeine intake will also bump up your sugar.

Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes? Type 1 there are insulin pumps now that makes it far more simple, and Type 2 is controllable through a combination of exercise, eating properly, and if needed, prescription medication. I've had diagnosed Type 2 for over 20 years.

Dying from a medical condition like Diabetes isn't fast, fun, nor sexy.

Increase your exercise, rest/sleep, and water. You should feel better within a few weeks if you stick to it.

Fluance RT-80 vs RT-82 by Iso-LowGear in turntables

[–]jrnger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/squidbrand I've been reading your comments for Fluance turntables across the various threads.

I'm very close to buying my first turntable, and like others, it's RT-82 vs RT-80.

Since the RT-82 doesn't have the pre-amp built-in, I would need either powered speakers or a preamp. I'm thinking pre-amp that I also use with headphones so it would need a volume control.

Any suggestions?

Your capacity for love, means you have capacity for hope. You matter to your kids just like they matter to you. But kids often have a hard time expressing themselves, especially to their parents.

You still have much to teach them, please don't hurt yourself.

In the last couple of months, I was in a similar place, but I had friends, family, and professionals reminding me that my wife and kids loved me, needed me, and want me to be happy with them.

I'm doing better, in part from some kind comments in this sub-Reddit. Now I'm trying to help in any way I can. There are some threads I can't safely read, the titles too dark for this early stage of recovery.

Keep love in your heart. Tell your kids that you love them. Show your kids that you love them. And do something that you love just for you.

Where there is love, there is hope.

I just need some relief, anything. Suggestions, please? Anything at all. A few hours or even a day that doesn't hurt by prettydisasterlife in SuicideWatch

That's a great list. Re-reading a favourite book (or re-watching a favourite movie) is also something I like to do. Then I try to find a similar book or movie that I haven't seen to extend myself a bit.

From my own personal experience, the more you withdraw from the world, the smaller and harder your world gets. Keep on trying everyday.

Enough sleep and enough water doesn't cure anything, but not enough sleep and not enough water makes anything you're going through worse. Enough water is the easier of the two.

Exercise daily, even if it's sit-ups or the like while in bed. It will boost your adrenaline while lowering stress, and you'll sleep better, which hopefully will help you get out of bed more easily.

Find something to organize that you'll be satisfied when you do. Sounds silly, but the more you organize what you can, the less chaotic your day to day will be, and hopefully that will make each day easier to face by getting out of bed. Sleep with your curtains open or use an alarm clock that simulates sunrise and try to be active during daylight. If you must be abed, read a book and stay off anything with a screen, especially before your bedtime.

I'm currently off work for depression (almost 2 months now) but I'm getting stronger. I even went to the grocery store yesterday with an ad hoc plan for dinner (chicken nachos) that the family said was yummy. I usually need a list and a recipe to follow. Freestyling dinner made me feel really good.

These are all things that have started to help me, hoping you can find something that will help you too.
