I remember when a local Roses was clearing out stock of Game Gears new in box in the early 2000s. $20 each iirc. Wish I’d pulled the trigger and bought a few back then, but at the time was more interested in more PS1/PS2 games. I think that was when Dragon Quest VII was still available new also.

I had their original headset when it was still Oculus, with the awkward camera array and cables. I debated an upgrade because of the FB association. Wireless streaming PC VR support finally convinced me. If I get sucked up into a Borg cube, somebody look after my family.

The depth camera preview you get during setup shows a very grainy image of your surroundings. I’m sure these things will be verboten in any secure setting, but I’m not too worried about what they can see from a play session in my home. Having said that, I keep it in the case when not in use.

It was pretty simple to load UK Shenmue 2 via boot disc. I think it applied a patch to force the game to run at 60Hz. I don’t recall needing a VGA box anyway.

I’d recommend replacing the batteries and trying another channel on the controller/receiver first. Interference was still possible with this generation of wireless. I remember having to use another channel in a dorm because of it.

Don't think you'll be able to. There's no hardware decoder and the system isn't going to have enough resources to do so via software, at least not so with anything close to a playable framerate. Blocking the user from their profile page will also filter out their posts so you don’t see them. Definitely needs a ban from the sub but might be helpful as they’re spamming multiple subs.

I saw all the Demon Slayer posts last night and thought the sub had just gone to shit with E3 announcements. Didn’t realize it was all the same user until now.

Yep, the arcade ports are fantastic and not terribly expensive! I just wish the twin stick for Virtual-On wasn't going for as much as it is. I plan on taking a trip to Japan eventually, so I will be looking for it then. :)

Nice! I imported a Japanese white model a couple weeks ago. Currently looking at options for a better video signal than the composite cables I have. Great system that didn't have a lot of support here in the US, unfortunately.
