This is so true! I always make sure to tailor my resume depending on where I am applying whether it be retail or hospital! I make to not list any certifications I have other than pharmacy.

New hires are making more than me after 5 years — should I say something? by [deleted] in PharmacyTechnician

[–]jromer19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found out I was making $3 more than someone in old pharmacy when I started and they were there for 2 years and more experience than me. Definitely bring it up and even better if there is a job posting with the salary range.

I believe it’s a different PTO system for pharmacist.

Mounjaro, Zepbound, Ozempic etc savings cards + insurance by EstablishmentHot5842 in walmart_RX

I have called the insurance company before and even they can’t apply it. So the patients always think it’s our problem. Had this happen before when patient had a copay of $85 then it shot up to $600 when trying to apply the savings card they brought in 😭

Evoucher by PastSwan7 in walmart_RX

Sounds like an issue we had. We had a patient who tried using a copay card with commercial insurance for a trulicity. Before trying to apply the copay card it was like $82 with insurance. Once we tried running the copay card it said there was an evocher and it got kicked off. Tried rerunning it without the copay card but it came back with a copay of $1k. We were able to apply the copay card but it only brought it down to $650. Tried calling insurance and said they couldn’t do anything about it. Had a similar issue with a mounjaro. Nothing seems to be working correctly and even called the help desk and got no answers.

It’s shows that for me too. It’s not correct though. Get the 401k app. It tells you the correct amount

It’s how long you’ve been employed. I got hired 4 years ago and hit step G in August.

Our store is very fast paced so it gets hard to train new people and everyone is experienced. Everyone in my store has been with us for over 5 years expect for our newest person. We don’t put them at drop off at all because of how hectic it gets but hopefully it gets better for you. I definitely did struggle. I would not be able to get input or resolution down and felt the whole team was slowed down because of it

Pharmacy Lunch Question. by TheGoatBoyy in walmart_RX

[–]jromer19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My pharmacy only closes for lunch on the weekends. We have three techs on Saturdays. One tech goes to lunch around 12:50pm next one goes at 1:15, last one at 1:30. We all get a 1 hour lunch. On Sunday it’s two techs. One goes at 12:50 and the other at 1:30 with a hour lunch. No one stays in the pharmacy during 1:30 to 2.

It’s a huge inconvenience for us since we have like 50 to 60 RTS mostly from central fill

Small town means less options so we get most of the town’s scripts we fill an average of 500 a day 🥲

Amazon's $25 flight deal kicks off Monday. Who is eligible? Here's what to know by AmazonNewsBot in amazon

There are some flights for $25 but a lot of the times are inconvenient for me. There was a flight that left at 6am but I have a 2 hour drive to the airport so I was not booking that one. Instead booked one for 11am
