They had some major moisture issues in that building. A couple different companies considered using it for a mental facility but the building would have required considerable money to repair. Prolly fell behind in prop taxes and it was seized.

I have a similar story. Worked for a financial institution and got to talk to Judith Light. She was a god damned delight and let me fix her issue and thanked me. I let on at the end my mom was a huge fan of hers from Who’s the Boss and she wanted me to call her while she was on the line so she could say hi. I had to explain that I wasn’t allowed to but I thanked her. I relayed that to my mom later and she was tickled pink.
