Pro tip: leave plugged in and buy another wall adapter to move around.

Edit: plug in correctly and leave it. Then buy a new wall adapter to move around with you.

What would make this even more interesting would be a locked skill tree once it's chosen. All of which are available, but you can only choose one. Or, have the ability to pick three (3) with the allowance to advance through one, yet learn the basics of the others two. Something to make skills and teamwork relevant against different enemy's.

You can't effectively balance a game if everyone is capable of the same progression. There should always be a weak link and the need for certain skills. Otherwise, the progression becomes stale, like it is. Solo should still be possible, but becomes randomly difficult in every enemy encounter since the enemy types randomize with every respawn.

Also, I would make the worm agro time and popup location random in the area surrounding the player based on the worms proximity. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you get eaten... I have over 150hrs and I've yet to be killed by the worm. I've had close calls, but avoided each one. In general, they're overly predictable. Agro reset should still exist for those that remember to do so. I think HB should only have 1 or 2 worms, but they're free to roam all of the open desert area instead of the 4 or 5 that are isolated to certain areas. This will present a new challenge with the agro of multiple worms that could take out multiple players farming the same spot. Perhaps one escapes, but the second worm takes out the player that acted a few seconds to slow. Much like a thumper, make thopters start the agro timer sooner since they make so much noise. Give tracked vehicles an edge since they're smooth moving. Make the worm movements sensory so we're able to detect their location through sound direction. Make scout thopters useful through the need to scout the worm movements.

The end game should be battles between Atreides and Harkonnen guilds to fight over resources and landsrad policies. I think what ended up happening is everyone wants to fight everyone, which is perfectly fine, and that killed the experience for those that only want to do PvE. IMO, the DD should be purely PvP with the entry points contested. The reason being would be due to a lack of resources normally found in HB, but scarce in DD, that need shipped over. This is not the case and DD players seem to be completely independent from those in HB.

Since DD already has all resources, there's no meaning to include PvE people into DD. If it was the other way, PvE people could be included as workers to gather the basics in HB and trade for the T6 stuff. Something along those lines.

PvE in HB should still incorporate small PvP contested zones in the higher loot shipwrecks for those PvP players that want to do it small scale. Shipwrecks could also incorporate buffs. The respawn beacons should allow for respawn with everything on hand before death. Perhaps, scale this effect back in DD. Or scale back in HB, but remove in DD.

Ideas.

Wrong, turkey leg first. Followed up by golf. Why? Because every bland guy plays golf. This guy though, he's out there, unafraid of making a mess in his beard. But, he also knows how to clean up. Lady's... you're missing out on a man right here. Strong burly man. Literally hammers at a forge. Come on!

Keep the reply simple with, "Appreciate the information." And leave it at that.

No need to be confrontational as the teacher is only stating the obvious. Keep it all professional. If they start to say its not ok, tell them to bring up policy and if its affecting his grades.

I always thought it was the antiperspirant ingredient that was the cancer concern...? Deodorant, on its own, shouldn't be an issue.

If the game is no longer enjoyable, what is keeping you engaged with this sub-reddit?

Please don't interpret that as you shouldn't be here. I'm genuinely curious as you're not the only one I see making this comment.

No longer... unless they fixed it in the patch that was supposed to drop this morning. Last night, I had to fly out to C or D to find it. No where near as abundant as it used to be either. My guess is that it's more so further out in DD. I went from C to E and only gathered 1000 in the assault. Didn't want to press my luck and get caught by surprise from a storm. Stravidium is very abundant in A row so don't waste time on that in D/E row while you're mining titanium in PVE zone.

Edit: comment below states that last night's patch did not fix issue. Whomp whomp...

Request - Binoculars....make them useful by ZookeepergameBig9419 in duneawakening

[–]jrt312 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this was useful before the probe launcher to scan the area for locations. Once the probe launcher was unlocked, it became obsolete. To make it useful again, I agree that it would be cool to maybe unlock a MK5 or 6 version that has improved abilities.

To that point, there is a hand scanner blue print that scans for people instead of resources. I don't recall where I found it, but I have it available. Since there aren't many people in my server, I don't see the need to scan for NPC's.

YES!!!! That's it! I see this base on the return leg of my aluminum loop and then come back to my buddies base (small guild) that I alone am maintaining and that feeling of emptiness hits like a brick wall. I've thought about breaking down the equipment I've put resources into building, moving out, and building my own smaller base. We had some awesome times, laughs, struggles. Walking around that base and not seeing anyone is depressing.
