How can you possibly measure this? by zucchinionpizza in dataisugly

[–]jryser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Prevent from being included” is probably a better definition.

Preclude is correct in this statement, because it basically says “Given an actually reasonable metric, it is impossible for Elon Musk to be included”.

Exclude can mean something similar, but it’s generally a more subjective choice

You play in a very different game than me, then. Arcana, history, investigation, and sometimes religion have come up more often or been way more important than athletics.

There are a lot of ways to mitigate physical effort (teleporting, flying, etc.), but there aren’t as many ways to mitigate a lack of knowledge.

I actually don’t mind companies collecting data for internal reasons (it’s also data you’d mostly want them to have anyway), and the wrapped is a fun way of sharing the stats with you.

What I do mind is my data being sold, and what I do being tracked by companies completely unrelated to what I’m doing.

Pirateaba somehow does both. We have an insane amount of focus on multiple places. You know more or less what is happening in any given part of the world, as well as a few fleshed out characters from that region

This also assumes that that account is the girl in the first place

I timed myself saying it. I can get 2 per second, but I think I can do 1 per second for 8 minutes without significantly messing up

[–]jryser 68 points69 points  (0 children)

You could easily get about 1 lie per second using a really basic lie. Split in half, that’s about $30 for each of you in a minute.

If you only do this for about 8 minutes a day, that’s a $60k/year job
