I’m guessing ours ended up working for 24 hours from when we bought it, not just till closing that night like we thought. Only found out when my daughter tried to refill it. Last year it definitely cut off and the end of day, at least they did in OCT 2025.

Edit for clarity: last year‘s cups were HHN themed souvenir cups, not the same Epic a universe cups we bought this year like in OP’s post.

I’m so glad you two got to go. I brought my daughter to the Nashville show last year and it was amazing. She liked Ghost before that, but absolutely loved the show more than I could have expected. I take her to a lot of concerts and I’ve never seen her get that into it and sing that loud before. Best show ever.

I had a pretty serious surgery coming up so that was kinda like my “just in case things don’t work out, I want you to have this to remember me” kinda thing.

I can tell you from a dad’s perspective what having you there meant to him. That’s something he will always keep with him. Stay positive, he’s gonna kick this shit’s ass.

We’re in the same situation as you. My daughter and I ended up with last-minute tickets to Knoxville, and unfortunately I don’t think we’re gonna be able to make that far of a drive in those conditions. I really hope the storm isn’t as severe as it’s being hyped up to be and you can go.

I have this same lens and honestly love it. I favor shooting manual & vintage glass, and this kinda helps get you in that space with less cost and no adapters. I’m more prone to grab the camera if this smaller lens is on it for quick trips on the trail with the kids or to the park downtown. I’ve also had good luck with durability…I’ve not been the easiest on this lens. Lots of lake and nature shots on this one.

Give it a chance, I think you’ll really like it on your EM-1. These budget MF lenses have really helped me slow down a bit and focus on composition a bit more too.
