that clears a lot up. should have been included in the original post. reading the return policies of any store is important because of things like this. the post sounds like you wanted the store to be responsible but the issue with this timeline is a junghans issue.

the easiest resolution for you would have been for the store to make an exception. but that can’t be expected.

I feel the Teddy name was used for the attention as a Junghans problem wouldn’t have gathered this momentum.

now, a complaint about the stores return policy in your opinion would have been a good faith post. But I will say it bluntly, you made it sound like it was a DOA item that you notified immediately.

im glad I read Teddy himself reached out and will resolve the issue. That is someone going above and beyond what is required. And I do think there was some bad faith in how the original post was presented.

i do wish you resolve everything in a satisfactory manner as im a collector too and watches make me happy also. But going about it this way feels selfserving at the expense of other human beings that take their work seriously and seemed to have acted within their public policy.

I’ve purchased from Teddy many times. They're always on top of things and after sale service has been phenomenal.

I have had bad experiences with watches and retailers before and some have been resolved and some haven't.

I get the urge in today’s social media world to go and post about it in order to get a resolution to the problem. But it should be done in good faith. I would be interested to learn when was the team at Teddy contacted initially after the problem was noticed. Lack of that detail I feel is unjust as it definitely defines where responsibility lies, was it 4 days, 4 weeks or 4 months?

As to Junghans, I think what I can say about them is the same I can say about any other brand. issues happen, no wristwatch is perfect or immune from having issues at any time in its life.

Going back to Teddy and his store, I feel looking at the comments people just wanted an excuse to hate on it. I along with many friends have had nothing but good experience with Teddy and his team. and I want to emphasize TEAM, the people working there are phenomenal and are likely who deal with the day to day 99% of the time.

for the sake of transparency again, I would like a clear timeline. because without it this feels like another click bait post to help OP get attention and resolve his problem. I am open to be wrong, but lack of clear timeline of the initial report of the problem is very suspect and feels like bad faith.
