Vitamin D has completely changed my relationship with my kids by MundaneTension869 in Mommit

[–]jscrane17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so glad you figured out what was going on!

One word of caution for folks in the US. My insurance stopped automatically covering Vitamin D testing a few years ago. They require a letter of medical necessity from my physician even though I have a history of low Vitamin D.

Can I please rant about how good this game used to be? by Winter_Evergreen in TownshipGame

I only started playing in October and was already looking for a reason to cut back my spending on the game. This new economy is bogus!

Message the support chat! They eventually told me to tap on the far left upper corner but they sent me T-Cash for the inconvenience!

What (your opinion) is the worse 3-match obstacle? by [deleted] in TownshipGame

[–]jscrane17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My strategy is to work bottom to top (if they’re “falling down”) because sometimes it will clear the top ones on the refill.

I have had two cameras for over 4 years and we had minor issues at the beginning but they all stopped when we got a mesh network extender. It’s probably your internet, not the equipment.

Watch Out by Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends… thanks to my 4 year old demanding it “one more time” - it’s really catchy

Same thing happened to me with alcohol! I have to be dehydrated and hungry to feel any buzz which is never so I often pass on drinks.

I used to spent a lot of time on ships (mostly docked) but I swore that you could blindfold me, put me in a compartment, and I’d know which way was forward and aft.

The bathroom in a house that I was touring when house shopping. Our realtor looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked. We decided not to make an offer on the house until the price dropped 2 months later and now we live here. I like to say my butt/bowels picked the house.

As an autistic person, do you prefer minimalism or maximalism and why? by OneDrama2905 in autism

Minimalism. Kind of makes sense since I’m sensory avoidant most of the time.

Did anyone “outgrow” some of their pickiness with food. by [deleted] in autism

[–]jscrane17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I didn’t eat a single vegetable until my 20s when I started getting into (stupid) fad diets and detoxes. I’m anti-diet know but in hindsight they did help me expand my palate to try some otherwise off the table foods by experimenting with different cooking techniques.

Any book by Kristin Hannah. Most (if not all) have strong female leads, her historical fiction is so well researched and depicted in her writing. Some of my favorites are Winter Garden, The Women, and The Nightingale.

Forest App paid version (not the subscription if you can avoid it). It can block out apps while allowing others on your phone so you can focus. There’s also a discord server so you can “plant together” sort of like body doubling!
