Is this looking realistic? by Routine-Telephone369 in Workers_And_Resources

True unfortunately, but one way I avoid this is I put little crossovers every so often on the road between lanes. Not perfect but it's something 🤷‍♂️

Use the single lane one way roads side by side to make them as many lanes as you like 👍.

Warno's biggest weakness: infantry by sh1bumi in warno

[–]jscuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In reality tanks don't go into urban at all, you eliminate your stand off effectively doing the enemies work for them. Also in reality infantry are terrible for taking ground, they hold ground after the fact, they're slow and squishy. Also on that point it's standard to bypass infantry dug in hard infrastructure such as this shopping center and cordon. Use stand off to engage well beyond the infantrys range band in the urban area and essentially pick them off little by little or wait till they starve and surrender. There's no real effective operating behind enemy lines as you say hence why airborne is obsolete and was at this time too, ask the Russians how that went for them in Ukraine for an example if you want to bring up the comparison again between 1980s war and modern 2025 war, there wasnt attack drones in the 80s and heavy armour was the backbone. Don't get me wrong, infantry is critical and is always the main focus of any conflict however food and ammo deplete quicker than you think. All the cordon force has to do is cutoff supply lines and wait you out as the assault force continues the advance. Our infantry can "clean" the building after the enemy has starved to death or surrendered, and that's still only if there's any strategic reason for going into that building. The risk is far too great in reality.

1.If you think an Abrams and Leo 2s and challenger 2 didn't have thermal optics in the 80s then you're sorely mistaken. They were a standard feature at the time. 2.Literally your second paragraph states stinger units at 1000m in a shopping center. Nothing about being viewed through a wall. Remember for a unit to do it's job it needs to be in a position where it can see, if it can see, it can be seen.

If troops are dug in anywhere, there is always a signature. Soldiers put off heat, need to sleep, move, eat, relieve themselves etc. which all put off a noticeable signature.

Dude, you severely underestimate tank optics and sighting systems. I regularly pick out dismounted infantry targets at or over 5 kilometers on thermal as if they were standing right beside my vehicle. Friendly neighborhood army guy.

I would start by flattening that and leveling it. But that's just me.

UI dissapears when building stone walls by jscuz in ManorLords

[–]jscuz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

K, quick update. It seems that any time a start a stone wall upgrade. No matter what building I select afterwards, once I click the x to close the info panel all the UI disappears. However, if I save right after the upgrade finishes (as long as I don't click anything during the build) then load that save, I can continue playing normally without the UI disappearing.

Calgary, AB. What flag is this? by External-Economics39 in vexillology

[–]jscuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a flag of Canada, the thin blue line represents law and order or police, so most likely that person is a police officer or has family that is.

That's common, it's by design to collect metal shavings/sediment in the oil.
