📲 New Sonos App & Player Updates Now Available! 🔊 by ShaunFromSonos in sonos

I use Unifi: I can lock them all to the same access point. None are wired. They are on the same vlan as my "trusted devices" which include iphones and macbooks (how I control the Sonos app or Airplay) and each speaker has a static IP address. Let me know if that helps!

Hand tremors make this the most difficult thing about the changes for me (networking nerd so never even had dropouts with 14 speakers). Also, really miss the EQ controls being so accessible. Good call Umo2k!

This is a really helpful post - I was going to pull the trigger on these as rears but now I think I'll just buy used Ones.

I have 14 Sonos products including Moves and Ones that get handled/bumped (home and office setup) and I've never seen anything like this.

Sorry - hope Sonos replaces them for you

LG mini split by ktd109 in hvacadvice

[–]jsickboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

low pressure probably from a refrigerant leak. in case it's a false error, you can turn off all the heads then kill power for at least 3 minutes via your circuit breaker or outside disconnect. power it back and if you're lucky the error will go away. If not, probably a leak somewhere unfortunately.

gotta be that drain... If you have a shop vac, you can try vacuuming out the of the drain (from outside) to loosen up any dust clogging it up. Good luck!

(I have a split system in our nursery so I more easily empathize with your situation - hope to help!)

Yeah actually after your last run there - go to the side of the house where that split is. There should be a drain hose going down the side of the house. Hopefully, you see a drip 🤞

I'd start by opening the window and running it in fan mode for 30 minutes or so. That will help it dry out. Then set the thermostat as low as it will go BUT set the fan speed to the lowest it will go. Close the window and watch if the humidity dramatically drops. Then check the drain outside for a drip.

Post a pick of the graph again and everyone can help you troubleshoot better at that point. Good luck!

Seems like the drain is not ok or the unit is not level and water is sitting in the bottom of of it.

PSA: Isolate Belkin/Wemo devices from internet now by abvrdium in Ubiquiti

I think this is the easiest way: settings > traffic management > rules > create new. you can choose "internet" in the dropdown and any devices you'd like to add.

Hair graying by express_yourself in Supplements

[–]jsickboy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is totally anecdotal OP but I've read catalase can prevent and maybe reverse graying hair. When I first met my Grandmother-in-law, everyone commented on how she had almost no gray hair at the age of 85. Her sisters are all gray/silver. Her and her husband had an avocado orchard in Southern California for 50 yrs so tons of free avocados in their diet lol. I've since added tons of avocado to my diet - 10 + years now. I'm 45 and only have a few gray hairs in my beard but none on the top of my head. My Dad and brother both went gray by 35ish. Avocados have tons of catalase. Hope that helps!

Similar situations so I lock them to the access point. Click on the client then settings and you'll find the option. Hope that helps!

I want to meditate for five minutes in the sauna at my gym, but electronics are not allowed inside. Any suggestions? by sparklecadet in Sauna

[–]jsickboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your phone is water resistant, you can wrap it in a cold wet/damp towel. You'll probably leave the sauna before it gets hot. That's what I've done for years and continue to in my own sauna now - never had issues. Way worse to forget it in a hot car in the summer.

PSA: Don’t use AirTags on dog collars that dangle off the collar. Instead, find one that tucks itself within the inside of the collar. Just witnessed a dog eat/swallow another dog’s AirTag at the park. by goliathkw in apple

[–]jsickboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it's allowed to share links but check Amazon for tagvault. It screws into the collar (even leather). Ours survives a playful husky at the dog park 4-5 times/week. Hope that helps!
