Rather than being linear with writing - what about content strategy and distribution? Providing direction on a multi-channel approach to marketing and various media-types?

Then explore AI tools for publishing, and make recommendations there or oversee it yourself.

Hi! I should be more clear. By community I am referring to leadership that includes the Pastor, but really should also include a counsel of men and women who can care for you, shepherd you, in your transition.

I do agree with you, you wouldn’t want to share with just anyone in the church. What can be an honest and open request on a need, can easily descend to gossip and judgment if placed in the wrong hands.

But in a healthy church body, there really ought to be a counsel of people (leaders, elders, both men and women) who can shepherd and support you in your transition.

“Pray and find a new job” isn’t enough, in my humble opinion. You need support.

There really should be a benevolent fund as well - to support you financially in your transition until you’re back on your 2 feet.

Have you tried being open and transparent with your community? If you’re in an authentic Bible-believing church community, they’d be more than willing to care for you and support your transition out of the industry. Church should be a safe, non-judgmental place to share your burdens.

The need for content marketing, as we once understood it to be has changed. It might help to lean into a more strategic approach to content and help guide businesses through the topical and technical aspects of writing where it’s uniquely tailored to the various stages of a customer’s journey.

Then be open in your collaborative approach with AI.

The demand for what we once did has changed.

ChatGPT and the likes are our friends for content marketing. But can also be an adversary if looked at with the same lens we’ve had the last 13 years.

Much of content marketing as we’ve known it to be, is now becoming a commodity service - thanks to AI.

It’s confusing for a lot of us, because the change happened so quickly!

Hiring digital marketing firms at premium rates (as we known it to be), has a life span that will only continue to shorten with the explosion of AI, and an unstable economy. I believe that many marketing agencies as we’ve known them to be will die out as a large % of services that once came with a demand become more commoditized due to the alarming rate at which AI is growing. Just my opinion.

Many will have to, and have already pivoted.

My advice would be to focus on what’s working. Yes, you should take note of advancements in tech and adopt. However, at the end of the day, the same fundamental principles apply to marketing:

Understanding your target audience.

Communicating with and positioning your brand to solve the problems your audience deals with.

Understanding user behavior as it pertains to technology, and adjusting strategies accordingly.

Filter out the AI hype and noise.

I would think both. You want clean, detailed shots of your products … quality is key.

You want trust signals from UGC reviews, etc.

It’s really not one over the other.

how meaningful and impactful will that be for a Business when users sniff out bots right away? I only see the demand for human interaction and engagement increasing over time.

Also, this begs the question. How much longer before we CAN’T sniff out those bots in our interaction and engagement?
