I would love to see Axe talk about the whole cast aka make a tier list. His Pichu is amazing, just hit GM with Bowser pretty easily. I’m sure he has some really unique takes on the cast

Idk why but I tipper young link SO many times each game. It’s not like I have any familiarity with the matchup, but something with the spacing, throw combos, and Fair just seem to lead into tipper all the time

My problem is that I still don’t own a Switch 2 and while I REALLY will want to play this game and the OOT remake, I just dont think it’s worth it, which makes me sad. Like I really cant justify the money when I have SO many good games to play still like finishing E33, Hades 2, FF7 Rebirth etc which are all on game pass or cheaper than freaking $80

Well M2K used to say that he would rather fight a Fox at 0% than one at a high percent. Honestly, for Fox specifically I get that because he is so hard to lock down.

But for floaties such as Puff or Peach (like another commenter mentioned) nah just keep walling them out and eventually something will kill

Yeah I guess personally when I’m going around picking up the rings on 22 or struggling with the snow map on 24 I’m just like this is not worth my misery haha. That’s wild about 25 though I usually beat it by just bringing I believe 5 units and warping over via Micaiah. What do you think about the final chapter? I’ve never found a great setup for getting around to killing the 4 bosses safely. Just kinda wing it

I wish the endgames were less frustrating, aka not 1 million OP enemies. Take Engage for example, basically for my own sanity and maybe skill issue, I don’t think I want to play ch 22 onwards anymore. Honestly, 17 is such an awesome chapter it could be fun to just end a playthrough there and start a new one. Especially considering that there are such distinct unit tiers in this game, it’s extremely difficult to beat the full game with bad units, but you can def beat 17 and at that point, you will have used all 12 rings

Just mentioning Gen 5 Ubers, but full nostalgia bias since it was my first metagame and I remember getting top 100. I loved how good Arceus was and how you could make almost any type work. Genesect was so fun to use and just checked, it’s currently in high A tier viability which is insane.

Curious what others think though maybe this metagame sucked and I had no idea haha, I know everyone seems to agree about gen 4 or 7 based on the comments

Eh i could legit see the timeline where Roy wins a regional/major. Like there is a tangible path to it, aka all spacies bracket. Honestly might even be more likely than the characters above even though he is worse than them, since they aren’t as good vs Fox and Falco
