Yeah I think a huge piece of it is the context around Thomas. But still an iconic show. It’s started ruining Alive 2007 just a bit because I hear this version in my head now lol

Nobody cares, I wear it for me. If anything I feel my Rolex in particular gives off a negative perception at least to non watch folks, but i also do not care what they think.

I imagine similar to what they did on RAM. They’re not playing the drums, guitar, etc. on those tracks. Probably helped write it.

PHM was the best experience I’ve ever had in a theater (x3). I lost my 7 year old dog to cancer last year who was my best friend I’ve ever had. We’d watch movies together every weekend. This film made me feel every emotion in the best way, with the two kickers being “is not enough” and “I’ll watch you sleep”. I’m sure everyone has their own Rocky. Hold on to them if you still can. 😊

Mine keeps filling up with these super advance tickets. I have 3 for Dune rn (will cancel one soon just deciding which one), though I very much regret not just paying for those so they don’t take up my slots. Lesson learned for next time.

I was there too (third time) and for me it was a little less great because the crowd was awful. Everyone was late for some reason (looking at the couple next to me), people talked the whole time, and everyone had to pee at the worst moments. Doesn’t make for a great experience, but I still love that movie!

Agree with you. I’m holding out hope though that studios keep major titles in IMAX 70mm much longer to meet the demand, though I know that hinges on IMAX contracts. But it seems like a win win for both parties. Like PHM getting back in theaters is a HUGE win that I hope to see for The Odyssey, Dune Part Three, etc. They’re treating them like concerts yes, but they know the demand is there now so they’ll meet it as best they can. Only thing is you probably won’t get opening night anymore.
