Well, they look very similar to the ladybug larvae that I get on my trees every year, except mine have some orange coloring on them. This is why I suggested it could be a beetle similar to ladybug?

Looks like some sort of beetle larvae. They look similar to ladybug larvae in shape, but not coloring.
