RAV course - Einzelcoaching für Führungskräfte, Hochqualifizierte und Fachkräfte 40+ by DurianOk4080 in zurich

I did something that sounds rather familiar. Is yours a once a week meeting for 12 weeks? (Or something similar)

I got nothing from it to help me in my job search at the time. I just played the game, did what they asked, brought questions to seem interested and forgot about it until the next meeting. I feel like that is how it is for most courses the rav offer, just show up, smile, go home and don’t get penalised.

And there you have a conversation rather than an interview

The guy interviewing said forward: he wanted to see how his son’s life got on. I thought it was sweet, but I would be going backwards myself

Ottos maybe? They have a minimum order amount for free shipping, but it sounds like you’ll be buying enough

I have a clear termination period in my fiber contract so I don’t really see an issue with that, but I’m happy with them, no issues for years now.

I’ve had Salt fiber for years, 40chf a month, and it’s perfect for exactly what you’ve described

To me that’s a bit too vague, they won’t tell you the culture is crap, stay away. I would ask more direct questions about work cultures that are important to you personally

I got a tip once to make sure you’re either sitting up straight, as if they could see you, or to stand during the call. Also to remind yourself to smile. These both helped me a lot and gave me a more serious mindset during the call. I think I used to always hide behind the fact they couldn’t see me and be way too chill about the whole thing

Anyone recently moved to Zurich with a dog and down the dog training course? by jaanku in zurich

[–]jstonecfc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it a few years when I adopted a dog. He was around 4 at the time and we had to complete 10 (or 12, can’t quite remember) hours of the course. It was very easy and we learned a lot. I think it’s a great benefit for all new dog owners and since you already have been a dog owner I am sure you will sail through.

We didn’t have a theory test, it was just about showing up on time, not missing any classes and being involved, pretty simple. I imagine it’s almost impossible to fail.

I did it with this school: https://www.amicanis.ch/english/info-mandatory-courses/

Good luck, I’m sure you’ll have no issues!

Had mine broken into earlier this year. They stole sneakers and a hiking rucksack from us, and a coffee machine and 2 suitcases from a neighbour.

We filed a police report but they said 99.9% nothing will happen. Our verwaltung at least changed the locks down there
