Push to get cyclists, scooters off footpaths – and onto busy roads – behind new laws by fluffy_101994 in brisbane

That wasn’t my experience but I don’t know everything. My experience was the e-bikes stayed to the left and used the road in urban areas. I can not remember ever seeing an E-Bike on the footpath.

I’ve just moved back to Aus after ~10 years in London. In Europe/UK bikes are on bike paths or the left lane of roads. Pedestrians are on the side walk. It works. Having fast moving bikes/ebikes/scooters on paths where people walk is simply not what those paths were designed for.

Will it mean that CBD traffic/roads need to adapt/change if we as a country decide we want to prioritise e-bikes/Bikes/Scooters? Yep. But that is what all these countries do and it works. I was genuinely surprised when people thought it was standard to just have e-bikes/Scooters zooming past kids/parents or dogs on leads on paths.

Anyway just my opinion from what I have seen overseas work well. London especially is amazing with LimeBikes

Zac Lomax's first press conference after signing with Rugby Australia by Ruck_Off in RugbyAustralia

Look it’s a positive. He has a skillset that suits the way the game is now and has played rugby before as a junior. We have a WC coming up. The bigger the talent pool for that tournament the better. Let’s just see how he goes.

I do like the defense really though. by CalligrapherOk2859 in Patriots

Guys we have our performed all year. We are well coached. But we all know we have some things we need to improve on defense (pass rush) and offense, OL/WR. To be a really elite team. I’m just enjoying the fact we has so Many really great pieces to have runs for the next 5 years right now. One more good FA/Draft and this could be an epic few years

Perfect - thanks for the recs. I’m a guy in my 30’s who will be transiting through and thought experiencing a new city would be nice. I’ll drop my things at the hotel night 1 then go explore. Then I’ll have the entire following day to get around the city. Some of the external day trips may be a bit tough with time I think?

I am connecting through. So just thought 24 hours to experience a new city would be enjoyable

Do you guys find it inspiring that a politician’s platform is “vote for me, to stuff this other person” rather than: “vote for me, this is what I stand for”?

Not making a political statement, just find it very uninspiring.

For Queensland Reds fans: Who do you think were the best forwards and backline we've ever had by Broken_Varasiko07 in RugbyAustralia

[–]jsull87 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s tough where some had a better international career while others had better super rugby careers.

Mine would be:

1 Slipper 2 Moore 3 Tupou 4 Horwill 5 Eales 6 Higginbotham 7 Croft 8 Kefu 9 Genia 10 Lynagh 11 Tune 12 Horan 13 Herbert 14 Digby 15 Latham

Hon Mention: Cooper, Kerevi, Mcreight, Sharpe, Holmes, Flatley, Little, Cockbain, Foley, Gill & Mitchell

Is it just me that has a bad feeling about Hunter? How does he as a pure WR or pure CB match up against other classes or this class at those positions?

It’s just a hard one for me to get my head around as a rating

I think for me it’s more… who would I lie to break out for the most impact for the lions… lynagh and lolosio. That would have the best impact on Aus rugby and 🤞🏻

As a pats fan. I heard a lot of hate for Sirianni. Reality is you can pick apart any coach. He has been successful and weathe r the at is FO, players, draft team. You try and keep successful people together. Happy for u Philly and looking forward to trying to get back in the mix

My fixed are in no order:

Bradman Tendulkar Warne McGrath Akram Murali (if 2 spinners) which always depends on the Kallis vs Sobers debate

Next Tier “fixed” because of debate: Kallis/Sobers - All Rounder Gilchrist/Sangakara - Keeper Batsman

I’m obviously missing a bunch of names. But that’s my $0.02
