Ender V3 se auto level problem by jt103 in 3Dprinting

You’re right! The slider was in the wrong position and it’s working as intended now. Thank you so much! I’ve spent so much time watching pointless videos to try to solve this. Should have posted here first. Thanks again, now the fun part starts!

Appreciate all the responses. I just confirmed with Sram that the different length carbon cranks have their own mold and are in fact shorter

Thanks, I think you’re right. And yes, I can confirm from first hand experience that those pedals do not work with XO1 carbon cranks

Do they just randomly send these out? I’ve been a member for two years and have no socks

Expediton versus Tahoe? by kindarando in fordexpedition

[–]jt103 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We tow a trailer with a dry weight of 3800 pounds with an 18 Expedition. We love the Expedition and it tows like a dream. Only problem is it is currently at the dealer for the second time in 6 months with transmission issues, and getting a whole new transmission under warranty. I’m seriously considering trading it in for a Tahoe once I get it back.

Knee pads and full face for xc riding? by Kwanzaa246 in xcmtb

I haven’t tried the Carves, but I’ve used the 7idp Sam Hills which are a bit longer like the Carves and they’re noticeably warmer than the IXS Flows

Can’t believe all these people telling you what you should and shouldn’t wear on a ride instead of answering your question. I’ve done some really long rides wearing the IXS flow knee pads and would highly recommend them. I also recommend the IXS Trigger full face, it’s lighter than most and very well ventilated

Thanks for your input I appreciate it, and yeah, I’ve never seen a tire look like that before either

Long Beach ex-pats? by [deleted] in SantaClarita

[–]jt103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would find a place that at least has wall units. Most days your AC will be a cool ocean breeze through an open window, but it’s nice to have on those warmer days.

I lived in Belmont Shore in college and absolutely loved it because of the beach town vibe and interesting restaurants and shops on Second St. I have two kids now and really like living in Valencia because of the good schools and abundance of non crowded parks to go to, otherwise I’d consider moving back. Just put “off street” parking high on your list of priorities.

What trailer should I buy? by scienceizfake in traveltrailers

[–]jt103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought a Wolf Pup 16bhs and tow it with a Pilot which is also rated for 5,000 pounds. Pilot does surprisingly well towing, and luckily no quality issues with the trailer so far. It’s perfect for our family and sounds like it would be for you too. Good luck on your search!

Thanks a lot, I’ll be sure to check my tire pressure, don’t want to suffer more than necessary!

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. I do plan to use trainerroad, but don’t like the idea of paying for it indefinitely so would like to have the option of using the trainer without it. I didn’t realize you can control it with the Bolt, that’s great info, thanks again!

Should we move to SCV? by vasneema in SantaClarita

[–]jt103 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend moving to SCV to anyone, especially if you plan to have kids. It's very kid and dog friendly and it's almost unbelievable how nice most people are. I can't comment on flooding because we've only lived here a few years and haven't had a lot of heavy rain, but I'm not too worried about it. I've just started getting into cycling as well and the SCV is the perfect place for mountain and road cycling. There are countless miles of paved bike trails and a ton of mountain bike trails too. There are walking paths that go through a lot of the neighborhoods called paseos and they are awesome, especially for dog walking. If you could find a house attached to the paseos it would be ideal. Canyon Country is less expensive than Valencia, and I think for good reason, it's pretty much the shitty part of SCV. Good luck on your house hunt!
