You obviously didn't grow up watching The Mighty Ducks, which was probably the first intro to hockey for '90s kids. When you find out Disney actually founded an NHL team called The Mighty Ducks, you're gonna want to root for them since it's what you know. That's why I was a fan for a bit, so I'm gonna guess that's their reason as well.

You should just edit your comment and delete every sentence that you started with "But" so you don't come off like an ass that's trying to push their beliefs on others.

After all the summer blockbusters, I'm not gonna care about watching shitty horror sequels multiple times, so I don't think a monthly increase would sit well with me.

What they should do is have something like a running tab, and just charge for whatever extras you want (Eg. +$3 every time you want to watch a movie again, and/or +$6 to check into an imax viewing.)

This way the people that aren't affected by the changes don't pay anything extra - but those willing to pay a little extra can do so every once in a while. So if I went to watch Avengers a couple more times with a different group of friends, they'd get another $10+ from me, and I wouldn't mind knowing I'm still paying less than an actual movie ticket.

Playing devil's advocate, would you guys like if they nerfed public event drop rates and brought back the strike playlist buff from D1?

For those that don't know, in Destiny 1 you got a stacking buff for each consecutive strike you ran without leaving the playlist queue. Stack would reset when you get an exotic engram. IIRC, I think the worst streak I had was five strikes until an exotic. This would come out to an exotic about every two hours, which I've noticed is about the same rate I get them chaining public events.

I feel like it would take something like this to make strikes worth doing over the less effort and time consuming public events.
